Southside Animal Hospital & Boarding Facility
Griffin, GA
Animal Hospital
New construction of a one story freestanding animal hospital measuring 6,833 square feet. The project involved waiting areas, examination rooms, administration offices, digital imaging, surgery room, isolation room, canine and feline wards, recovery room, multi-purpose room, and dental area. Building construction was comprised of light wood frame construction, prefabricated roof trusses, membrane roofing, masonry and wood siding.
Boarding Facility
New construction of a one story freestanding pet animal boarding facility measuring 3,792 square feet. The project involves a waiting area, administration areas, supply rooms, boarding areas, bathing and boarding support areas. Building construction is comprised of light wood frame construction, prefabricated roof trusses, membrane roofing, masonry and wood siding.
Community Cat Clinic
Woodstock, GA
This clinic is the first of its kind in the Atlanta area. Two existing interior retail spaces were demolished and combined to create the space. The surrounding retail spaces remined fully operational during the construction. The clinic focuses on affordable care for cats as this is the owner’s passion. There is a feral cat room that takes strays in that remains open twenty-four hours a day all year round. The owner was refining the design and made several modifications to the original design and the schedule was not jeopardized.
Urgent Vet
Kennesaw, GA
This hospital is programed to handle pet emergencies after the normal veterinarian clinic/hospital is closed. The hours are 3pm to 11pm. The project was built in an existing retail center, so coordination and protection of existing shop employees and customers was paramount. his 3,200 square foot state of the art facility includes 8 exam rooms, surgery suite, x-ray room, and a comfort room for the wellbeing of patients and their owners.
Fetch Park
Alpharetta, GA
Site and Building development of a 3-acre interactive dog/people park located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The theme of the project is the interaction of people with people, people with dogs, and dogs with people. The park had to be integrated with the outdoor buildings and structures so that people and dogs could safely and comfortably interact. The project really is a hospitality venue with food courts/bars, live music space, and beach volleyball. The dogs are very happy as well as the owner.
